BioI'm a mother, wife, full time grad student. My daughter is a ball of energy, totally independent and insanely clingy at the same time. Jury's still out on the son, but for now we'll leaning towards keeping him. My husband is a kick ass sailor that totally allows me to indulge in my ever changing addictions yet never puts up with my bullshit. I'm sarcastic, opinionated, wry and blunt. I also seem to be afflicted with foot in mouth syndrome rather frequently. I can talk until you're blue in the face and type even faster. I was raised Catholic, but I am recovering. I try to be a good listener, work even harder at not judging, lest I be judged. I'm failing by the way. I'm nosy, but really just because I care what is going on in my friends lives. I'll give you the shirt off my back, but if you cross me, I'll change the firing order of your spark plugs. I volunteer and donate to charity. I used to read everything I could get my hands on, and can't wait to have the time (and free hands) to do so again. I've studied philosophy, psychology, history, and sex and think that it's all Freud's fault. I support the military and our troops, but I think our Commander in Chief is a few bolts short of a functioning oil well. My music ranges from ABBA to ZZ Top and everything in between. CNN and Noggin seem the be the channels on most in my house, with a bit of FoxNews to round it all out. I left fandom with Teen Beat.
